COVID-19 Measures

JTA is committed to keeping its students and Tae Kwon Do family safe. We aim to exceed the CDC issued guidelines and will continue to seek your cooperation going forward. We’re all in this together. Working together we are stronger.

What JTA is doing to protect you

  • Everyone must wear a mask at all times when in JTA. The CDC recommends universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Classes will be limited to 30 students or less to maintain social distancing. JTA’s After School Program will be limited to 20 students or less.
  • JTA offers online live access to our classes via Zoom.Hand sanitizer and air ventilation/purification units will be readily available throughout the facility.
  • Students, their families, teachers and staff should stay home when they have any signs of any infectious illness and be referred to their healthcare provider for testing and care.
  • The CDC has added a recommendation for fully vaccinated people who have a known exposure to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 to be tested 3-5 days after exposure, regardless of whether they have symptoms.
  • Vaccination is currently the leading public health prevention strategy to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Promoting vaccination protects everyone in our community, especially our children.
  • JTA is committed to fully sanitizing all areas, with extra attention to high traffic\touch areas, of the dojang multiple times a day. Strict attention is paid to using high quality CDC approved cleaning products and methods.
